I have read and enjoyed the first three books in Tara Mill's Pelican Cay series, but the final installment is the best, in my opinion. While there is plenty of steamy sex play and well written descriptions of tropical paradise, what really distinguishes this book from most romances is its thoughtful exploration of an unconventional relationship paradigm. Ms. Mills uses skillfully written dialog and multiple points of view to reveal the character's qualms and insecurities, hopes and fears. I was fully engaged in their process from beginning to end. Whether or not you've read the other three books, you'll really enjoy this "cherry on the top" story of three people in love. .Product details

In Sweetest Taboo, the characters are related to others in the previous books, but it reads fine as a standalone. Angie is Kate's best friend from the States. Kavita is an island transplant, she came to enjoy the sun and stayed, but was also at Kate's wedding. Lance officiated for Brad and Kate's wedding. This is a well written story of love between three people and how they resolved the problem. This is just a feel great story and a sweet three way romance.
